Barbie Parker
Barbie Parker has been a dance educator for the past 19 years in public schools where she has been the director of the Langham Creek High School Bailadoras for the past seven years receiving State and National titles yearly. Prior to working in the public education sector Mrs. Parker danced professionally performing in industrials and Broadway shows while living on the Island of Oahu in Honolulu, Hawaii for 12 years. In addition, she coached the Rainbow Dancers for the University of Hawaii before returning home to Texas where she was the choreographer for the NFL Houston Oiler Cheerleaders. Literally dancing her entire life, Barbie has an accumulation of 39 years of experience in the dance/drill team field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance with certification in Dance, Health and P.E. and also a Masters in Mid-Management with a principal certification from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. Having won many honors and awards during her career as a dance educator, one of her most notable awards is being the recipient of the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund scholarship, where she received a fully funded three week study abroad in Japan of the Japanese school systems. When not with her team she enjoys Cross Fit, cycling, snow skiing, knitting, sewing, and traveling. Barbie is the mother of five wonderful children, six grandbabies, 2 fur babies and the wife of Richard Parker, her very supportive husband.

Performed and Choreographed: Hula Bowl, Pro Bowl, Rainbow Classics, and the University of Hawaii Half Time Performances.
Choreographer for Show People Hawaii – dancer/Choreographer for Industrial Shows coming to the Islands such as Apple Computer, GE, Ford Motors, NFL, Hussman and BF Goodrich.
Choreographer for Kan Sai Gai Dai Japanese College musicals.
Dancer/Singer/Actress for Diamond Head Theatre Musicals.
Taught Dance at Punahou Dance School K-12.
Dancer for the John Rowles Show – Hilton Village, Waikiki Hawaii 6 nights a week. - 1992 – 1993 Dancer for the Houston Oilers – Houston Oiler Dance Team and member of the show troupe. Traveling and performing in Houston, San Antonio, Tokoyo, and Mexico City.1993-94 Choreographer for the Houston Oilers Derrick Doll Cheerleaders. Responsible for the half time shows for all home games and special performances of the team.
Choreographer of the NFL Junior Blues dance team. 600 dancers between the ages 6-18 who performed with the Derrick Dolls in 4 home half time shows for the Houston Oilers. - 1998 – 2001 Director of the Friendswood High School Drill Team.
